What my question is is what do motel owners do when people book more than 30 days.

I think the bookshelf looks better and people will put more than books on it too if they don't have any so it will get decorated. 

I have no prior investment experience but after living in Paraguay, and reading some books about real estate investments, I think I'm ready to buy my first property.

Brandon Turner wrote a book for BP called Investing with Low or No Money Down - start with that.

But i am here to learn, one day at time, one book at a time.  

As of 2-3 weeks ago my Airbnb has been listed, the first week of its posting the first month was already almost fully booked out.

. - The ultimate house hack, live in the small ADU unit and rent out the two levels of the main house on AirBnb in San Francisco (I would have thought STRs are oversaturated in S.F. but it worked for them and they stay fully booked).
