Hey everyone, I currently live in Toronto but I am interested in real estate investing in Ohio, and I was hoping to get some help.

Appraisal and approval is done and deal is firm..A pre approval is as good as cash in most properties in Toronto area..I had a few properties in Chicago and Indiana where the deal collapsed 14 days before closing because of financing.. that rarely happens where I am from.. 

From my experience I'd say about 75% of Toronto condos are owned by people with Asian or Indian names.  

Toronto is fortunate enough to be close to Buffalo and Detroit which are mid markets where a lot of southern ontario investors take advantage..I know a lot of Van City folks in Phoenix and as far as Chicago and Atlanta.. just need the right connects

I have seen prices in HK and its super high like 1500 USD per/sqft and upwards to 4000 USD per/sqft on exotic condos..A lot of people from HK are buying pre construction condos in Toronto..Its hard to cash flow in expensive cities as Toronto and Vancouver are the same in Canada
