I might get 100 people contact me about a rental within the first week with 10-20 showing up to see the place and a 5-10 applying.

But as long as it's marketed properly and not way over market price, you will get a decent amount of prospects and should rent it out within 2-4 weeks.

On another note, just because your offer isn't close, as you said in your narrative, doesn't mean you're wrong with your offer price.
