HPS is a rare (only 20-50 cases per year in the United states) but deadly (40% mortality rate) disease transmitted by infected rodents through urine, droppings, or saliva. 

The poor baby probably has some medical problem i.e. infected and plugged ears.

It is a drag that fear of infection plays a role in all this.

Finally on 3oct we decided to vacate the house as no pest control was done on the house and we had skin infections due to bed bugs.

Get a cut - spread some natural uncooked honey on it to prevent infection.

I described this as putting a bandaid on a cut, but when the bandaid falls off, the cut will now be an infected incision...Just my opinion.

Since I'm the only insured on my policy, the way I interpret this all is that as long as any transmissions in my rental properties don't originate from me, then any related lawsuits are *probably* covered so long as no one was intentionally infecting anyone.

If the tenants haven't already carried out the infected mattresses and boxsprings through the halls unbagged (likely spreading the infestation), get them duct tape and mattress bags from uhaul and tell them to put the mattresses in the bags AND DUCTTAPE BEFORE they drag them out.
