I’ve thought a lot about both approaches but the property I am thinking of fixing up is in the family and is technically not mine yet and aside from needing upgrades it has other problems associated with it.I am currently living in the property I've made some upgrades to the kitchen, bathroom, exterior and interior paint and I’m paying $500 rent that goes towards taxes.

The house was in good condition with an updated interior.

We are currently in the rehab phase and updating the home interior and exterior.

Be prepared to take a property without seeing the interior or having inspections.

It looked good, although obviously there wasn’t much info about the property and I wasn’t allowed to check out the interior in person.

Go for the 2 interior inspections a year.
