They require the newer systems with pumps and filtering due to the environmental sensitivity and proximity to the ocean.  

Back before environmental protections people drained wetlands and swamps, that just doesn't happen now.

And insurance will vary depending on size of house and environmental factors, but compared to all the other expenses it would be so nominal of a percentage.The only thing that is not included in the standard 70-80% formula, is your personal and or corporate income tax rate.

And since this property was across the street from a very prominent destination lake, governmental action would be swift and strong should any environmental contamination issues come up in the future to protect the lake.

Last thing I will add is I've always dreamed of building a bunch of environmentally friendly micro-homes on a piece of waterfront land around here.

I wouldn't like the potential environmental on the land I owned in the future.
