We've purchased several single fam homes over the past two decades. it finally dawned on us to use real estate as an investment tool and not just a place to live.

I added a dishwasher upstairs that I bought off Kijiji for $100, removed some ugly hedges, general yard clean-up, painted the upstairs rooms and built a new vanity for the upstairs bathroom.

Thanks @Dawn Owens -   I don't think I really have a choice with the washer/dryer combo.

New sink, black or stainless dishwasher and stove.Not much counter space.
