As for whether she lied in court, it is definitely possible to have a voucher revoked, but still have a hearing about the revocation with the PHA after the end date.

However, if you don't accept Section 8 in any of your properties, you can deny her due to her S8 voucher, other than that, find SOMETHING wrong with her credit, or background check.

Rainbow is completing a 3 story facility at the end of my street ready for opening early 2018. its $275/week/kid, and they do not allow State Vouchers(meaning no families getting childcare assistance).

Our local HA (not sure if this is consistent throughout the US) requires landlords to offer a one year lease to any Section 8 voucher recipient.

After providing the tenant and the housing authority with the required 30days notice of lease non-renewal , i discovered that the housing authority decided to not pay me for the last month of contract, stating they had to pay the new land lord (the one where my tenant is moving to)Funny enough, the section 8 contract does;t state any obligations or penalties for the HA in the case of non payment and also stipulates that the landlord cannot turn to the tenant to cover the missing voucher....
