My cabinets are white and outdated but I was thinking of refinishing them to a similar color like that and this picture really puts a clearer vision in my head!

You might need to refinish it now and again, but, if you can do the work and have access to a sander, it is fairly quick and quite inexpensive.

My house is a 1901 1.5 story 3 bed/ 1 bath  that isn't really sell ready, they've done some improvements...but very DIY, and it needs paint, floors refinished ect. 

here it is...original wood floor. installed in 1965 by the builder, refinished in 2016 by...meand yea, got a free bed and other furniture in the house left by the previous ownerhere come the main part of the rehab. the master bath!

I get that they can be refinished -- I've researched a number of different solutions to refinish the tubs -- the thing is, the price of a quality refinish job that will last is quite high -- for me, I'd rather buy something shiny and new.

I need to move my stuff so I can refinish the terrazzo floors in my 3/1 and complete the Sale.

Some things should probably never be done, unless you do it every day - such as refinishing hardwood floor.

Yes you pay the gas bill for the heat, but on a newly refinished four unit, that won't be terrible and the rents will more than cover it.
