I think this is a fair point that 1% is a broad brush that covers up important details.

This type of program works best for more singular and static portfolios such as a crowd fund or other private placement.The alternative are checkbook plans such as the IRA LLC or Solo 401(k). 

So when I came into the house, I bought some bleach and Tilex and a stiff scrub brush and scrubbed out the tub, just thinking I'd get it as clean as possible and we'd see where we'd go from there.
