What if something is stolen? 

The tenant gardener took the tomatoes out of her rent check and the deduction was called "stolen property".

All tenants with bad credit are working on repairing them or had their identity stolen - rather I look for the pattern of behaviour.  

Please have all valuables in a secure place as "My company" will not be help responsible for lost or stolen items"So they don't have the ability after requesting maintenance to tell us no you can't come in here.

Now I needed to clean up and upgrad but had to hire LARGE helpers to "work with me" as I even had tools stolen from my truck in the driveway as I was loading them to go home for the day.

This isn't to say Inglewood is crime free, hell my car was stolen a month ago, there have been some residential break ins, and gangs exist, but that's true for all of Los Angeles, especially middle to upper class areas bordered by crime and gang plagued areas.  

What if the tenant's remaining possessions were stolen waiting for the handyman to be contacted and for him to arrive? 

I know of more than one worker who has stolen something as payment for work when the contractor or owner of the business stiffed them on pay.
