It used to be when you saw nice cars in my part of newburgh it was drug dealers and people looking to pick up hookers or drugs....now I see couples in BMWs driving for around checking out listings.

The dealer quoted several hundred as "the dash would have to be removed."

You don't call a used car dealer an investor, because he isn't.

I quickly found other financing, at much, much better terms.These are the sort of shady tactics one would expect from disreputable used car dealer.

Buying off craigslist car in cash allowed me to get car way below dealer price and pay just a few hundred in taxes vs thousands in taxes at dealership (IL laws) plus no interest or dealer fees. 

Preditory lending practices may be used against any investor in any state if the seller meets the definition as a dealer under UCC and various federal statutes.

Can you partner with local dealers to put homes on your lots on "consignment"?
