I'm concerned about the scum eventually choking the float switch.I think I'll leave it alone.RE: MSDS...Yeah - I ran it through the dishwasher at a service man's suggestion since I don't have a water softener and the city water is well water.

Dawn - I just listened to your Bigger Pockets podcast interview again. 

You should also budget for replacing equipment as it ages, if you are responsible for it (water heater, dishwasher, etc). 

I recently joined Biggerpockets and reading the stories, it dawned on me that I can consider myself a real estate "investor".  

Hey @Dawn Brenengen, to be honest, I just started looking there because I have been traveling down there for business and prices in Raleigh don't seem to be too out of whack, but I haven't been watching it very long.

It is pretty obvious that he is being lied to and used, although that awareness has yet to fully dawn on him.
