this is critical that those offended let the regulators know whats going on.have you contacted one of the investigative journalist at the business journal in Indy... with your documentation of what you paid pictures of a non rehabbed house etc.. this is the type of story they can bite their teeth into and then when it makes it to the papers the authorities are really put on the spot to act.

Of course, with all my baring teeth, the situation is much more complex: I absolutely don't want to inherit this tenant with children and deal with an eviction situation in MA - yet, I need this house for all hosts of personal reasons, including taking care of a family member with advanced cancer.

The market would be interesting to test, as there are no comparables whatsoever for a property of this magnitude in this neighborhood.
