I don't think there's any harm in asking.Do a search on the address first though to see if it re-appeared under a different MLS #; it's unlikely but remotely possible it was removed due to an error in the listing and re-entered as correct.If you're talking about commercial property, it's also possible that they pulled it from the regular MLS and entered it into the RI Commercial Information Exchange (RICIE).

If it's an arrangement where your equity partner is just providing funding in exchange for a percentage of the profit that's one thing, but if it's a demanding partner or one you don't see eye-to-eye with it can lead to them pushing you to make decisions that might harm your real estate business.

You're not necessarily putting a lot of money out to secure a deal, and if you can't resell to an investor, then you can cancel the contract - no harm, no foul.
