Amazon recently built a million sqft distribution center in Auberdale which is just east of Lakeland and signed a deal with the municipal airport to be able to fly shipments in and out of there.

Can anyone tell me where the closest neighborhoods are to SLC downtown/airport that are not affected by this?

I would look at what is near Mayo, Jax airport, any major employer. 

North Charleston could have some success if you were close to the airport or some other feature.
