At least on the next deal I'll feel a lot more confident with the idea of long distance investing and the logistics involved!   

The market is hemmed in by mountains, which renders plenty of land unbuildable, and the logistics of driving in the mountains means it takes longer to get places.  

Prior to that I served 8 years in the Marines working as a Supply and Logistics Clerk.I learned about bigger pockets through my brother who is pretty new to REI as well.

Spain and Portugal are good examples of countries with great investment potential but the logistics are just a huge burden.I'm currently looking at acquiring an E2 investors Visa and setting up an LLC based on the West Coast, dealing in real estate, long term rentals and vacation rentals.

I also happen to be at a pivoting point in my professional career and thought that a move into working in commercial real estate would be a great idea to learn some specifics of the business.My background is in logistics/process improvement as well as teaching and I wanted to know if there were some roles that could really help me lock in the fundamentals of the commercial space.

We set up the LLC through an online company but feel like the technical/logistical component was lacking (i.e. when to file, how to file, etc.) 

Unfortunately, logistically - it would be almost impossible to drive over and see every house we're putting an offer in due to time constraints, distance, and how competitive the market has been.I'm assuming not all investors physically see every property and do long-distance investing.

We are in need of both dry and cold storage and a centralized location for logistics and quality food preparation that we can use for the long and supply the stores.I am a real estate investor, and stay busy on BP to focus on my residential properties.

It's more due to the logistics that I stay to the northern part of NJ.

You can do this at an arms length away and not have to be tangled in every logistic.
