the general contracting you can do yourself...it's not rocket science  ...talk to the town's building inspector and ask him for reliable names...start there...write down the questions you need to ask

Hi Loren,I am a local builder doing this right now in Seattle it's not simple but, it's definitely not rocket science.  

Apologize for the issue and just move on.It's not rocket science to figure out that the other side of the Duplex is highly likely to develop the same problem - - how will you handle that?

Also, though the addition is in the back of the house and seems well done, I'm afraid of uncovering things that need to be brought to code sky-rocketing my expenses.Anyone in the Kissimmee / Orlando area has any experience with this?

I did my lease through Rocket Lawyer which seemed pretty comprehensive, but I will have to go back and review the eviction section of the lease just in case.
