Your worried about your baby and honestly when women(this is evident in social psychology) get into funks like this they are more likely to stay it in and be scared/ponder it then shake themselves out and move forwardYou need to stop being stuck in your own mind and take a risk.

That is the best piece of advice I have ever received...I wish I remember who that guy was so that I could go shake his hand now.

Maybe turn the tables a bit- surely he doesn't want to lose all future commissions with you, either- let him know that his actions are damaging your relationship and that you'd like to be able to work together in the future too- maybe you can shake hands, agree to disagree and move on to the next deal together.
