More than once my husband and I have temporarily housed our future tenants for free because we are good human beings and could help a family avoid homelessness due to circumstances that were no fault of their own.

That's just ignorant, as that would equal mass homelessness or tenant displacement at best, not to mention rental real estate is the #1 investment vehicle of politicians and major political donors alike.

This situation makes mine homeless.
