Then you don't have to mess around with funneling funds/payments through your HELOC.I suppose there could be a slight drawback to that strategy if the HELOC you had with a $0 balance got called/frozen due to loss of job, etc.

The only drawback I see is that Google could change or discontinue the service at any time, as they've done occasionally with other services. 

I dont know how most tenants or investors feel about this and if this is a drawback.

Unfortunately we are self-employed which definitely has its perks but it definitely has its drawbacks when it comes to getting financing.

The drawback is that increasing the rent comes with red-tape and the possibility that the rent will actually be LOWERED, if the market dictates it's too high. 

The one drawback to this platform is people and their strong opinions that like to draw very strong assumptions Unfortunately, you fell into that category.

Non-performing notes is almost a completely different subject and has large potential returns, but typically has the draw back there is no clear prediction of when cash flow will commence.
