@Lane Kawaoka I think these are great ideas, and I can't wait till technology finally catches up to the real estate sector.

There are other Midwestern cities who are growing the high tech job sector, but their growth rate isn't as high as Indianapolis' rate.

I like the sector except some are staying away from the acute places as medicare or Medicaid (can't remember which one) will be squeezing payouts and affecting bottom lines making them thinner with more regulatory control.So different ages sectors of senior living are more desirable over others from investing standpoints.

Regardless of whether you invest with SLF or not, I strongly encourage you and other investors to invest in the senior housing sector. 

There are relatively no rent control laws in the private sector.

Although one thing I have noticed in the last decade is that the amount of middle to late 20s to early 40s folks that have done very well for themselves in their chosen field is quite pronounced.. whether its tech sector or other business's that they have run and done well at.When I think back on my investor group back in the late 80s at my HML company in Oakland..

In many parts of the US, manufacturing and similar jobs are going away and what remains are service sector jobs.

A Chinese takeout actually doesn’t make that much profit after paying the rent and chef and delivery guy..... small business is the only sector that are still hiring In America, most corporations are sending jobs overseas.
