Have you sent them the required notice regarding the damages?

We had a small fire in the common area of our association that caused damage to all six units.Some owners decided to take advantage of the situation and add on minor renovations to the repairs.The insurance company (Erie Insurance) recommended that we hire (Perfection Restoration).

Unless you are wanting to sell it as a true SFR and not as a duplex/rental property.As for the PM I would think that you could probably take them to court for damages but you would have to take them to court.

Bottom line, we have a water intrusion issue that is causing some major wood damage to the front of the house.  

I too have an old house and a carpenter stated that some of the damage could have been done to the wood even before it was installed!

On one end I read about investors that take advantage of the Act 22 tax exemption, on the other end the government struggles with debt and reconstruction of Hurricane Maria damages.

I found a house for sale by owner like the interior remodeling. overlooked the damage caused by the foundation issues existed.

The interior doesn't look like it has major damages as in the walls are intact, a bit dirty, so needs some repainting.

I sent them a claim against their security deposit for $3200 (Deposit was $1000) for the damages.
