I haven't been able to find much info on competitors rates for MTRs.

IF you've got 25+ million in the bank, why wouldn't you buy up struggling assets/ businesses / competitors, etc. 

I know you thought we would x+15 days to be safe, but we really needed +30 because we arent even as good as the competitor we pretended to be so much better than.

Once word gets out that Airbnb doesn’t provide “good” customer service, a large percentage of renters will look for other alternatives - and a competitor guest friendly will emerge.  

I think it's best to just offer the best place possible, be better than your competitors and charge top dollar for the experience.Don't try and Nickle and dime your guests with extras.

So far no issues but i'll submit all my documents and see how long it takes to get a pre-approval with them. the rep said it takes 24 hours to get pre-approved. not too impressed with that as the competitors I've talked to will give you same day approval provided you turn everything in before noon.

For reference this is a 1500 sq ft condo and I was quoted around $300 annually vs $1200 with the next competitor.

Your competitors most likely aren't sending 5 touches to their list (unless they're smart or have a massive marketing budget).
