The living areas are above the flood elevation, the basement would potentially flood.My plan for the rental is to pay off the debt quickly, so I can eliminate the flood insurance.

I didn't even think to mention, I have a two bedroom rental and it is my best cash flowing rental (although not just because it is a two bedroom).I was three bedrooms and they took one out to put in an elevator!

Typically, they are 25 minutes from downtown Golden, and are at higher elevations which are in a more rural environment and sometimes have dirt roads.
