Most of the time (or at least mine) quotes have limits as to not have the owner expect more than what is quoted, say for tiles, it is limited to $4/sf, for mid is limited to $2/sf, and that means tag prices are 10% to account for sales taxes the logic is the installation is the same but finishes can vary widely, another is a faucet can cost between 100-1000.
