We have had a place there for a couple years and does really well, BUT we self manage and it is now kind of a hobby where we learn as much as possible and keep on learning.....If you do go this route make sure to theme the place, and make it stand out. 

Hello, has anyone ever turned their pole barn on their primary residence into a wedding venue?

It is a vacation/wedding destination town and a retirement haven.

If you survey the landscape of coaching program graduates, a consistent theme emerges: those that "make it" tend to have the drive, curiosity, passion, grit, relience and focus to weather the journey... 

If all your going to do is chase that 1 #, oh man, dude your so scr#wed! 

(Before you start reading, I think the overarching theme of this question is that the definition of a Hard Money Lender and Private Money Lender has changed throughout time.

We have a few dozen resort communities that are built specifically to be STR and you won't have to worry about zoning or regulations or even HOA cutting you out.It is a very competitive market with so many units, so you do have to be a good operator and have a clean, attractive, well located and themed out home to stand out and perform well.

So, not sure if it's just my lender who's opposed to Nesting, or if it's a common theme. 

The house also happens to be right next door to a wedding hall.
