I believe it is a good practice because in a pinch tenants will pay whichever bill screams the loudest.

I didn't do an exhaustive search, so this location is just an example.I'm considering either Reno or Las Vegas, but Las Vegas looks like a better location for this, since it has more direct flights to other international airports, and has more visitors to generate STR income.

I wouldn't recommend paying for marketing services quite yet, as the site isn't likely to convert visitors to leads. 

Lied to the wife about visitors and got her to spend a weekend removing all the kitchen cabinets, sanded and resealed all of them (probably my best trick since we married).

Visitors could combine a beach and city holiday all in one and a beach holiday there would be less expensive than on the most popular islands.

One person per room, no children, no overnight visitors, etc. 

People will protest, scream, stamp, and tell me how wrong and privileged I am. 

There's just 100 ways people can scream discrimination, when 90% of the time it's simply " You don't meet the income to rent"  There's crazier things for sure, but this has been consistent!

This ihas driven up prices and they ain't comin; back down.That doesn't mean that you can't find a screaming deal, they are all over.

So alot of people are screaming the sky is falling on STRs, but really it is welcome back to the seasonal pricing and occupancy roller coaster ride of STRs that have been around for decades.
