. - and more..I'd recommend remaining active not only here on BiggerPockets, but in other valuable RE investment networks that you can find - i.e. local meetups (meetup.com, eventbrite, BP local events). 

I will say, every transaction will teach you something valuable.

If you were green and new to this game, would you find the book that was recommended from a BP staff member valuable?

I don't want to live in a mansion or have sport cars (nothing wrong if that is what you like, but that isn't what would make me happy).I plan on retiring in about 5 years before I am 60.

The endless pointless meetings, pretending to care about company wide announcements, having to sell products that I didn’t find valuable at all.

Being that I'm new to it, though, I'd appreciate hearing unique experiences from anyone with valuable information to share.Thanks!
