Forgive me for being naive I simply just want to know and you're right the crime rates are up there, whats strange is that Trulia shows a low crime rate even though there have been shootings in the surrounding areas in the past three months.

Sorry, can't help, but I find it strange saying they know before it hits the legal news as a lender cannot disclose the loan condition prior to public notice, so it may be they picked it up an early morning copy, LOL. 

Hoping May was a strange, seasonal blip.

It's a little strange but these days commercial financing can sometimes be more cost effective than what an owner would do unless they're willing to accept a really low interest rate.The situation I see a lot recently is a retiring baby boomer with plenty of equity.

More amenities mean higher rents but Galveston is a strange market.
