This past Sunday, I was surprised to get an email to resolve a complicated order that I was placing.

Besides the letter I would have a sit down with her....talk about the issues, ask her how she can resolve them, ask her to commit to resolution. 

@Sarah Lev@Michael Ullman just shared a recent experience where things didn't go exactly according to plan, but also gave good feedback on how RTR stayed involved to resolve the issue when it occurred. 

I was like no snit but I am not reducing the price as that was clearly visible when you walked the property (which they did)If there is an electrical issue that comes up that is a problem - sure I can fix it or give some $ to get it resolved but for blatant obvious things I do not negotiate as it should have already been part of the offer

What did you end up deciding to do to resolve the issues?

I feel, unless you truly detest your current work/life balance, or it has been you dream to be a part of REI, you will find it very difficult, if not impossible to build greater wealth from your position without significant risks and distribution to the stable family life you likely already have.You are not going to make compatible money from REI in the next few years.

You likely have codes and code enforcement officers that will start issuing fines for the trash and unkempt yard.Keep filing complaints with the owner and city until it's resolved.

Really, I am going to renovate the whole thing so a lot of the items would get resolved along the way anyways.
