I've gone the other direction actually when trying to smooth things over with a guest and instacarted snacks, supplies, etc.

STR's have mortgage, prop mgmt, ins, vacancies, repairs, water, electric, wifi, licensing, furniture, toiletries, snacks, cleaning fees, hotel tax, sales tax, etc.

I wrote a welcome note to each guest, stocked the fridge with cans of bubbly water, bottle of wine and snack bars.

If not you can’t just paint it yourself as the owner you’re usually given a pass as long as your not lining the neighborhood children up for free lead paint chip snacks.

She has a book where guests also share information with the next one staying there for tips about the area, including historical sites, etc.Having a basket of snacks on hand is really nice when guests arrive and haven't yet had time to shop.

Perhaps you are good with a hammer, or marketing, website design, flyers, bandit signs, summarizing or reviewing books, podcasts, blogging, offering someone a ride to a Meetup, bring snacks, pick up someone’s tab. 

Might be eating vending machine snacks for lunch in the managers office.....might be becoming an expert at where to find and install shark bites yourself when pipes freeze.Take all this as motivation....to do what others can'tGood luck and best wishes.

Same goes for other vending machines, especially soda, and if you have sufficient traffic (for example an on-site office) a candy/snack machine too.

Most people relax with tv and a snack.
