Has anyone tried installing wifi locks and security cameras for their long term rental?

Here's time & money an agent or PMC needs to spend to get a rental listed:1) Make sure it's clean2) Hopefully, take professional pics and just not use the camera-phone3) Take room sizes and note positives and negatives about the property4) Since most rentals aren't advertised on MLS, research multiple sources for rental comparables to determine rent.5) Write a GREAT ad for the property6) Syndicate or manually enter the ad on numerous websitesThen, once published for rent, how much time do you think they spend taking all the phone calls (most of them from idiots who don't take the time to read the ad), doing all the showings, chasing applications & supporting docs, processing applications?

-You can use the internet yourself for cameras, lights and anything else on Wifi.CONS-If it goes out it is your responsibility and people get crazy when they can't play xbox-In some cases, it costs a lot to get set up since you are covering a large area.

The space is most appropriate for a couple with 1-3 children, 3 single adults, or even a couple with a grandparent or nanny and a kid or 2.From what I'm reading, the law protects families with kids from discrimination, but can I get in trouble for doing the reverse and allowing (and potentially advertising) a higher occupancy rate if people have babies and children than if all occupants are adults? 

I'd also get security in place (with cameras that record and upload to the cloud) so that you know if he's broken into the property and if he has, be prepared to press charges.
