Boy I looked at Abeerdeen hard back in 05 06 is was dead and dying.. not sure whats happened since.. but I loved flying into that little airport there and having my 100 dollar hamburger but then the restaurant closed.. the approach was over the bay very cool then I would take the long way home and fly up the coast to the Straight and wrap around to the peninsula go over Crescent lake then shoot down West of the SeaTac Class B and back home.. fun way to burn avgas. scenery off the charts..

If there is enough customer traffic in front of the hamburger place to support the hamburger business, there is likewise going to be enough customer traffic in front of the Long John Silvers that doesn't like hamburgers but would prefer fried fish/chicken or any other unhealthy food choices.

Because of low rents and and high price of RE the ROI(return on investment) in most of the big cities(Like Munchen, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne etc), is around 3-4 % So that means if you pay 1.5 % interest and you pay something for maintenance you are hardly break even or even on minus.
