Then the contractor who did the install will say 'That's not my fault, they broke one of the lines' or 'it's a POS system from Amazon what did you expect, call the manufacturer', or 'I just installed it, I didn't warranty it', etc (especially if the tenant bought it and the contractor is just installing it)My thinking is if the owner approves/recommends the contractor to do the work, it's then their responsibility to make sure it's done right, and their liability thereafter because it's their property after all.

Since manufacturers build everything cheap these days, technology is likely to fail early and often and increase your costs.If I were integrating tech, it would be a code door lock so tenants don't have to use a key.

It's good to have developers who have experience with container building but not a hard requirement since the installation isn't too complicated and would get help from the factory who make those container homes as well.I've been working with container manufacturing company who build 90% of the unit (prefab) from Vietnam and ship to the US.
