It is also very common for walls to be framed with 2x8 lumber - our research indicates rock wool is the predominate insulation used in Scandinavia and the 2x8 wall with external cavity and internal chase affords the ability to create an R50+ wall assembly.

He's only willing to buy if he feels it's a 1 in 1000 deal, and he's smart enough that no one's going to put the wool over his eyes and convince him that he's got a 1 in 1000 deal if it isn't.

One decent transaction per year will pay for those costs, though2) You're held to a higher standard, and can't pull the wool over little old ladies' eyes to "steal" their houses.

They recommended stuffing steel wool into these passages (outside, at ground level near the foundation where the siding starts), and that stops the mice.
