If you just want a website or blog you can set one up with squarespace or wordpress.

I'm a web developer, based in the UK, and have been contacted by a couple of realtors asking for help with a property listing tool for their website.It seems to be a common problem for realtors but digging through the forums here I've noticed that there seems to be a range of opinions as to whether or not this is actually a good idea.I'm aware that there might be 'off-the-shelf' solutions or less than ideal solutions that you can clobber together via a WordPress plugin or using blog posts but I wondered if the market could be better served with a dedicated solution to this problem...if it exists!

Many platforms like wordpress are very easy to use.

I would also recommend building your own website (word press) before you reach out too, it can be super simple but it looks like you actually are trying instead of trying to get rich quickly.Network as much as you can, rub elbows with real estate agents and others who are doing this.

Maybe it’s my Wordpress site that has a cheesy plugin.  

If you know basic Wordpress to put together a functional website and know how to implement plugins, you can have a site on par wit or better than an agency.

You can do the same thing, minus the $5 server, with a Wordpress site.

However, I did get the squeeze pages uploaded into WordPress and I am able to do some limited customization of the pages.
