Free website and hosting for small businesses in California

Just heard about this on a radio ad and thought it sounded pretty cool and wanted to pass it along in case it can help anyone.

Apparently small businesses in California can get a free website, business listing on Google, domain name, and hosting (for one year), etc - all through a partnership between various municipalities and companies (like Google, Intuit, etc).

Best of all, it doesn't look like it costs anything at all initially (unless you want to upgrade some aspect of the service). It's part of a movement to get more small businesses online.

Anyway, just wanted to pass it along in case any BP members out there are starting out and in need of a free website.

I don't have any affiliation with this program so I can't answer any questions, but here's the website for more info:

I've long considered setting up some sort of basic website for property management so I can list vacancies when they come up and include a link to a rental application (with the hope of getting more people to see the house and apply online so I don't have to physically go to the property to do these things). So I'm thinking about taking part in this program for just that reason.

If anyone else beats me to it (or has already done it), I'd be interested in hearing about your experience.
