Ahead of Manhatten, LA, San Francisco. 

Cities in the San Francisco Bay Area are charging vacancy taxes because they're seeing people with a lot of capital just buy up properties to hold onto for appreciation and not renting them out.

A few cities I am interested in are Houston, Scottsdale, San Diego.

And just the other day, I was grabbing coffee with a friend who reps a group of invsetors out in San Antonio.. they got burned early on by not clarifying their rental criteria, picking up a triplex that sounded good on paper but turned out to have a revolving door of problematic tenants.A baseline business plan isn’t just a mind-numbing exercise.. it’s the guardrail that keeps your momentum from swerving off into the ditch.

We are currently renting in San Diego, CA.

Hello, if you must live in San Jose, I'd say renting makes more sense, especially a 2.5M house for 5K a month.
