I understand it mars your credit something horrible and virtually makes it impossible to purchase anything via credit.

My job (yes, I still have one, new to investing :)) has 2 really busy 3 month cycles every year, sept-nov and mar-may.

I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada, and am one half of a company that specializes in acquiring American real estate for both Americans and fellow Canadians (mostly vacation spots; have to escape these winters somehow!).
