If you took DIY possession, was it legally allowed because the property was abandoned, or was it illegally obtained and doesn't mean anything when it comes time to file a quiet title lawsuit.If legally abandoned, that means the owner is gone, has no intention of coming back and no intention of ever doing anything with the property.

I buy homes as a primary residence with 5% down and move into them keeping my previous as a rental and the area that I live doesn't have new builds that would work for us, otherwise I would buy a new build.

But really you’re just creating a second job for yourself and one that doesn’t pay very well if it even is cash flow positive at all 😆I used to buy houses for STR but now that I’ve got several STRs up and running that I bought many years ago, I stopped buying STR once mortgage rates went up and housing prices went up.
