They finished the repair and I'm waiting for the bill, guy said maybe 5 grand.. and not covered by insurance for me.. but we got it fixed before freezing weather and that would have been much harder to fix, he said frozen ground price doubles.

Not knowing your situation, if your property is located in an area that has freezing temps I would move it into a warm section of the house.

Another option would be for them not to throw in the trash any food, just freeze their food leftovers and throw them the day the trash it's being picked up.

I would build a house anytime as long as the client can pay me what I need to make a good profit.What happens in a recession is that the trickle down process kicks in....the people at the top tighten up their $$ and the whole market sort of freezes.
