I'm a turnkey owner/promoter and my two fave markets in that range right now, with considering the market itself and the available turnkey providers in them, would be Kansas City and Philadelphia.

You will spend money on gas, bandit signs, yard signs and whatever advertisement you decide to promote with.

Have you considered a HELOC (home equity line of credit)Here is my story:We have a condo in boston, when we found out we were moving for promotion, we quickly got a HELOC bc it was our primary home. we NEVER DREW any money out so we had a zero balance.When we left, we put in a tenant at almost cost!

Lived in Colorado but received a promotion and moved to Nashville.

Then again, if the board does a good enough promoting the cause and explaining the circumstances, you may very will be stuck with this change.  

Took another promotion in 2008 back to GA as the market was crashing and became the typical accidental landlord and never wanted to be.

Another question I have, if you have been so miserable for so long, why haven't you done something to get out of the situation such as taking classes to get a promotion or find a better paying position, etc. ?  

He expected me to view them and become enchanted with doing business with him... despite the fact that these videos have nothing to do with due-diligence (and only serve to reflect an unprofessional image of someone more focused on promotion than execution).
