I bought rentals in Mississippi.. they were new construction.. for gozone benefits and I chose homes with concrete floors.. best thing I ever did.. of course these are also A class.. with 1400 to 1600 rents.. so no section 8... and not a ton of little kids.but I have had them 11 years now and its been wonderful.. not sure what it would take to retro fit and float concrete in your single level rentals.. but that stuff works.. and if they get stained you simply paint them
