Beyond that, our goals are (in ascending order of ambition):* Achieving some kind of reasonable cash flow (10% or higher CoC)* Growing our assets at a healthy clip* Being able to buy a primary residence in a good school district here* Paying for our daughter's college in 8 years* Achieving financial independenceWe're closing on our first property--a SFR down in the Atlanta metro area--in about 3 weeks.

I plan on forming a limited liability company in the future and look forward to absorbing as much knowledge as I can from this community so I may one day become successful in meeting my goals and ambitions from self-sustaining income.I'm also halfway through reading Robert Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", which has changed the way I think and brought back my interest for real estate investing. 

But I won't be captive here for long I'm betting, after I get maybe 10 wholesale deals and say 4 BRRR deals under my belt I'll be trying to expand my ambitions domestically.
