And you're right, Detroit is a cautionary tale.

But wrt to the original topic, we live in a world now where people send hundreds of thousands of dollars to Instagram marketers who have never purchased a multi/ self storage/ commercial etc style property but have 200k followers from repairing doors without priming/ prepping them… so it’s definitely no surprise that this place is full of folks who want to talk a lot… if you’re good at the talk, or making a unit look good in photos for 30 days, that’s all it takes to grift people these days.

We would run into them all the time every one of them was the sha's cousin.. and they just spun wild tales I learned quickly with those folks I needed stuff in writing. 

Are there opportunities you know you're missing because you're not on Instagram/fb?
