Who died, went to a nursing home, got a promotion, lost a job, who wants to retire, is getting married, is having a baby, new to the area, lost a law suit, going bankrupt,  had a vehicle repo, has a code violation, does a contractor have a lien on any property, any child support liens, you get the picture.

Is the real truth out there because there are a lot of people promoting wholesaling.

It is an idea promoted by people who think they should control not only the property they paid for, but also the property that others paid for.

They are an auction website that promotes live and online auctions.  

I'm in the process of looking for my first investment as well, and would love to trade ideas and just talk about what's out there.I'm also an agent, but I'm on BP more to learn and talk with other people from an investor's point of view, rather than promote myself.

Not promoting either one just trying to figure out which one is truly better than the other.

I would use that money in addition to traditional media for things like commissions, buying out leases ( this is where you offer to pay someones lease off if they move now), promotional gifts, you can buy a flat screen tv for pennies,  paying for moving costs, etc. 

However, because of varying incentive structures having control over an asset can be very beneficial vs. holding it in some type of public company structure or fund structure where they may have incentives that are not the same as yours all the time or where your return can be somewhat capped by promote structures.

Madison REIA recently had a person with first name Erin that they were promoting and I tried unsuccessfully to find her contact info (nobody from REIA responded to my request and I wasn't sure if I had the right Erin when I did a search for her).Is Tasha someone they have been promoting for a while?
