I hired a painter off Craigslist awhile back and he'e been great.  

If there is a minor repair they will pick up the phone and call a plumber, painter, electrician etc.

I typically hire for specific  jobs,  such as a Painter, Carpet Installer, or Plumber.

Ask painters for drywall referrals.

The rest like a local painter, handyman, carpet guy came pretty easy as we've worked with plenty over the years and can usually pick the good ones after a conversation or two, and we really like the guys who work for a business during the week but willing to work on the side for us on the weekends.

My painter and my USPS worker also few years ago buying 1 mil house.

My ex husband and I worked together as a team, him the general and me the painter/decorator. 

I guess they can hire a painter and window installer.

Do you have any painters in Waterbury to reccomend and where do you purchase your carpets?

Thank you for the compliment, Ezra, but I really doubt others want to dress like a homeless looking construction painter plumber driving around in their beater eating pb&j's between naps.I am a horrible task delegator.
