I'm not in the Big Bear market, but @Sarah Block I keep three sets of sheets per bed, and three sets of towels/hand towels/wash cloths in rotation.  

It's the same as investing in a bar, a clothing store or whatever.  

Take off the old valve, clean up the threads with a cloth (if they're clean but just wet) or a wire brush (if they have crud in them).

We even put sensors in our clothes drawers and those reached 120 for a few hours.

In VA, I paid less than $5k to spray paint an entire 2200 SF interior with drop cloths. 

My goal is to get out of Corporate America, have more time for my passions (real estate & yoga), grow as much as I can in every area of my life, have control and complete freedom of my life. 

As a woman, I can live with smaller closets-  or with an outdoor shed for bulky non-clothing items, non valuable items for storage.  

That meant very few new clothes for me, practically no vacations, and very few nights out dining with the family or hanging with my friends.
