Propstream is a great web-based software that provides lists with property owners names and information.

Look for software developers who will make you a fast website.

If they have a reliable team of third-party contractors, leasing agents, and a good software it's doable. 

Is there a software that allows me to do this without subscribing and paying a hefty monthly fee?  

I've been using cozy.co , but interested in looking into what else is out there. I'm looking at Tenant Cloud and RentRedi. What else should I consider?

What suggestions do you have for good accounting software starting out for keeping the books on investment properties?

Quickbooks seems to be the standard and it integrates with almost all software

@Matthew Raj you really should use software that has applications/leases etc all ready to go for your state/locale  they will have been written/approved by the legal teams etc.   

So, do the math $120 / $20 = 6 hours/month.How much time do you think it takes to process rent payments, update software, send you your funds, answer tenant calls & emails, answer your calls & emails, followup with tenant if they don't pay on time, etc?
